Meeting & Planting in Bnei Netzarim

Meeting & Planting - We began a new tradition of planting in the new settlments this Tu B'Shvat. This year we planted in Bnei Netzarim which is in the Haluzah sands with the presence of MK Uri Ariel, Rabbi Elisha Vishlitsky, Head of the Eshkol municipality Haim Yalin and JNF representatives. We had the pleasure of feeling a bit of the home feeling of Gush Katif during the event – connecting to the sand and the dunes, meeting friends and families from all Gush Katif settlements and planting 14 olive trees that were uprooted from Gush Katif, kept by JNF people and replanted in the Haluza sands.
We hope the trees will express our longing to go back to Gush Katif along with the renewal of the permanent communities that are being built.
