Palestinian workers' law suits were turned down
Palestinian workers' law suits were turned down due to the efforts of the Gush Katif committee.
Hundreds of law suits from former Palestinian workers were submitted two years ago against employers from Gush Katif, most of which were farmers. They demand compensation and minimum wages.
These workers, the major part of which was represented by left wing NGO's, blamed the Gush Katif evacuees for their dismissal and demanded compensations for tens and hundreds of thousands of NIS that have reached law suits of hundreds of millions of NIS. After extended long legal work and efforts most of these law suits were turned down in the last weeks.
